Crete: Hot-Air Balloon Flight with Breakfast and Wine

1.Hot-Air Balloon Flight with Breakfast and Wine

★★★★★★★★★★4.9 · 60 reviews · 3 hours · from $294Our pick

Rise 300 to 400 meters above Crete’s Lasithi Plateau with an experienced English-speaking pilot and no more than eight people in the basket. You can help the crew prepare the balloon, enjoy wide mountain and sea views, then celebrate with breakfast, sparkling wine, a flight certificate, and a small gift.

“The activity started super early so be prepared to leave and plan your drive through the mountains is you are staying by the coast, once you get to the meetup point all is under control and the guys are super friendly and helpful in taking you to the location and setting up, get hands on experience and give them a hand which is great to be part of, once you are up the views are brilliant over the green stretch and surrounded by mountains 360 👍🏽”

Heraklion: Sunrise Balloon Flight & Sunset Catamaran Cruise

2.Sunrise Balloon Flight & Sunset Catamaran Cruise

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 45 reviews · 8 - 9 hours · from $353Top rated

Start with a sunrise balloon flight over Crete’s Lassithi Plateau, help inflate the balloon, and enjoy a light Greek breakfast with pilot Sergey’s team. Later, board a semi-private catamaran from Heraklion or Hersonissos for swimming, snorkeling, sushi, fruit, local wine, beer, and sunset views around Dia.

“A dream come true! The hot air balloon flight has been on my bucket list and it was magical (I don’t even like heights). Sergey and his crew went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed every moment in the air and after landing enjoyed a small brunch at Elin Gas Station/Route 29, which was exceptional. We enjoyed every bite and the hospitality given from not only Sergey, but the owner made us feel special! We all left completely full. The catamaran that evening was just as enjoyable. The whole day was like a fairy tale and so relaxing. I would definitely do it again!!!”
