Explore Santorini’s volcano with Alex Private Boat Rental

1.Explore Santorini’s volcano with Alex Private Boat Rental

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 298 reviews · 5 hours (approx.) Our pick

Set out from Fira Old Port with captain Panos and first mate Alex for a private cruise around Santorini’s caldera. Swim in sulfur springs, snorkel near Palea Kameni and Thirassia, see Oia from the water, and enjoy five local dishes with Santorini wine. The route can be adjusted to your group.

“Our captain was very knowledgeable of the areas we stopped at. It was great learning the history of the area. Sunset by boat is definitely something to experience. He had a home made authentic meal (tapas style) which was so good!!! There was white wine and water aboard. We would have liked to see a few more drink options, but to be fair we didn’t request anything specific. Had we done so I’m sure he would have had it for us.”

“Overall this was a very fun activity - it was great to have the freedom and flexibility to go anywhere we wanted on our own schedule. For first-time boat drivers, it was slightly challenging and the wind made it more difficult to navigate in the marina. Secondly, we did not have internet service and did not get a map so we just winged it on the locations to stop at. If you're going on this tour, I recommend you have internet so that you can access Google maps, and just be prepared to be 100% on and focused when driving the boat. If you're looking to relax and not worry,…”
